A couple of general announcements. First is an upcoming series of events that I would like everyone to know about. Mike over at ordoinfo.org is starting up a book club that I would like to see in the success column of all of out internet score cards. The response was initially a "YEAH" but has pettered down to a "ok" and I would really like to get it back up to a "YES" because to me it is totally a "FUCK YES!" Now that I have made myself clear, please go here and make yourself an account, won't you? The first books is Thomas Pynchon's The Crying of Lot 49 which I enjoyed when I last read in college. We shall see how it stand up.
Also of note, this weekend I had the company of many fine people at a LAN party hosted by one Safety Monkey who is a fine indivudual as well, but in this case get's special mention for going the extra mile to accomidate screaming drunken nerd.
Speaking of drunken nerds, what has two thumbs and was screaming drunk on Friday night at the lan party? This Guy.
So obviously I had a great time shooting and being shot. I remembered that I suck at CS and that I have a passable skill at UT2K4. A good time was had by all, untill the hangover hit and then a good time was had by almost all. :-)
