I find your lack of faith disturbing...

The new Pope kind reminds me of Senetor Palpatine.


I am probably being shallow, but he kinda scares me. I'm not even Catholic. I was hoping for a Latin American Pope, personally. Someone who was groovy and alive, not a 78 year old German, who's eyes are probably a little too dark for a postive public relations spin.

I can't really say I am all that original as I did see the original wikipedia entry with the Palpatine picture and laughed my ass before I made this post. However it was fixed before I got around to making note of it.

I think he's terrifying. I was so used to John Paul and his charismatic actor's demeanor and looks that this guy scares the holy hell out of me. Therefore, I agree.
